Course WE3-01C: Wind Farm Financing - compact

We will be doing most of the wind courses "on demand", which means that we will hold them only if we get enough interested participants. If you are interested in one of our wind courses please write us an email telling us which course and indicate a time period that is suitable for you. Once we have enough interested persons (we usually need about 10) we will then contact you and try to schedule the course.

Content

Duration of the course: 3 days

The course provides detailed knowledge about wind farm financing. It covers cost structures of wind farms, contracts, revenues, due diligence, cash flow analysis, financing instruments and bankability of projects. Practical exercises complement the theoretical material to ensure an optimal learning outcome.

Purpose

• At the end of the three-day course you should have a fundamental understanding of financing wind farms.
• You should attain theoretical and practical skills required for cash flow analysis and due diligence of complex wind farm projects as well as the negotiation of contractual agreements with banks and other capital providers.

Target group

This course is aimed at developers, lenders and other professionals who wish to extend their knowledge on wind energy financing and the due diligence process.

Requirements

Basic understanding of physics of wind energy is required.
