Solar Trainings in India
PV-plants of utility size and solar thermal process heat are two solar technologies which will play an increasing role in Indias future energy supply and within the national Solar Mission. Skilled professionals are the precondition for the solar market development. ComSolar in cooperation with RENAC offers two trainings on solar applications: large scale grid-connected photovoltaic plants and Solar Thermal Process Heat (STPH).
Both trainings are part of the GIZ project ComSolar. ComSolar´s objective is to develop and demonstrate innovative business models for the commercialisation of solar energy in urban and industrial areas. ComSolar is supported by the International Climate Initiative of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Indian Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
Training on Solar Thermal Process Heat (STPH)
Solar Thermal Process Heat as one form of solar technologies can be utilized in many different sectors in industry and commerce. Solar thermal applications for large scale hot water demand can significantly reduce the use of fossil energy in hotels, laundries, restaurants, canteens, etc. Solar Thermal Process Heat with up to 200° C can also be used economically in many industrial sectors like textile, pulp & paper, pharmaceuticals, leather, food processing, dairy or electroplating.
