RENAC prepared a study for Best Available Technologies (BAT), relevant technical parameters and the technical and natural conditions for solar collectors and photovoltaic systems for a potential application in Azerbaijan. The short study introduces two types of solar technology: Solar thermal and Photovoltaics (PV). Furthermore, the implementation of solar thermal in an office building and the potential application of PV in the field of operation of compressors for natural gas pipelines in Azerbaijan are being discussed. Best Available Technologies (BAT) for solar thermal and PV with relevance for Azerbaijan are described as case studies.
