Feel the wind energy

For wind energy, the Training Center is well equipped with eight milliwatt-windtrainers. This equipment, through the practical understanding it brings, enhances the theoretical content of our courses. The following eperiments are available:

• Measuring the wind speed
• Measuring the power output of the wind turbine, and how it depends on wind speed
• Demonstrating how the power output of the wind turbine depends on the number, position
• Shape and angle of the rotors Resistance and buoyancy principles
• Measuring characteristic curves of a wind turbine (current / voltage)
• Charge and discharge of storage
• Minigrid demonstrating operation of small wind turbines and PV modules together
