Purpose
- In this course, you will gain the essential information for successfully implementing large-scale PV projects - from initial concept to full operation.
- You will learn about common PV technologies and typical PV system configurations, components and costs.
- You will be able to assess market conditions and recognize market barriers and project opportunities.
- The course covers the planning and organization of complex, large-scale PV projects and the major risks that could affect them.
The course will show you how to perform an economic analysis of a PV project, and organize suitable finance – including the use of public support schemes - as well as how to develop an appropriate market entry and sales strategy.
Target group
- The course is organized for people who are new in PV project development or who want to deepen their knowledge in this area. It addresses engineers as well as non-engineers. It also is highly suitable for those who do not yet implement own projects but get in touch with them in their everyday work-life.
- PV engineers and electricians, staff from financial institutions, staff from electricity utilities, members of public administration, project developers from the PV or other renewable energy sectors, management and sales staff, civil engineers, are only some examples of occupational groups who are invited to this course. The course is also interesting for young professionals or students.
