Seminar PVM3-02a: Photovoltaic Engineering, Project Management and Financing
The course is divided into two sections, with the first three days dedicated to PV engineering training and the last two for managing and financing of PV projects. In taking this course, you will become familiar with the main aspects and key challenges of the technical planning and implementation of a PV project and how to manage it technically and financially from concept to full operation.

Content
Duration of the course: 5 days
In the first part, you will get an insight into the components of a PV system, how to select the different types of modules and inverters and especially how to configure such system. The opportunity to examine different system design methods through PV system simulation is offered through many practical exercises. The exercises touch specific issues and problems that might arise in practical implementation. In the second part, this course covers the planning and organisation of complex PV projects and the major technical and non-technical risks that could affect them. Performing an economic analysis of a PV project and organising suitable finance – including the use of public support schemes – conclude the training. The course gives a strong perception of PV engineering, project management, financing of medium- to larger-scale PV plants. Through the whole seminar, you will have the opportunity to discuss PV market conditions, recognise market barriers as well as project opportunities. You can either take the full course of five days (please register through this page below) or just the last two days only, the latter covering project management and financing. (If you wish to register for the last two days, please click this seminar:
