Service for rotor blades of wind turbines
rotor blade damages – rotor blade inspection & repair
We will be doing most of the wind courses "on demand", which means that we will hold them only if we get enough interested participants. If you are interested in one of our wind courses please write us an email telling us which course and indicate a time period that is suitable for you. Once we have enough interested persons (we usually need about 10) we will then contact you and try to schedule the course.

Duration of the course: 2 days
go to topPurpose
The course teaches the function of wind turbines with a focus on rotor blades. It includes an introduction to various kinds of rotor blade damages and its analysis. Furthermore the seminar covers an introduction to several repair methods and how to understand inspection reports as well as the evaluation of damage relevance. Estimating required repair complexity and the evaluation and judgment of repair work quotations complete the three-days-seminar.
- The seminar rotor blade service has been established to meet customers demand to gain a better understanding of possible damages and judgment of required repair effort.
- At the end of the 3-day course you should have a fundamental understanding of the wind turbines rotor blade performance f, the correct evaluation of inspection & assessment reports as well as true judgment of quotations for repair work.
Target group
- Wind turbine owner & operator
- Wind turbine plant manager
- Wind turbine service & maintenance
Requirements
- No specific technical skills required
- Relevant expert knowledge will be presented through an easy to understand performance
- Inside details will be of high interest for experts
Advantages
- First you learn the basic function of wind turbines with the focus on rotor blades and the forces stressing the rotor blades. Through an easy to understand performance all typical rotor blade damages will be explained with view onto their relevance and repair priority and implication for the continuing operation of the turbine. The participants learn through damage analysis, i.e. exposure of damages, the large extent also small appearing damages can hide behind the surface.
- You learn the correct evaluation of inspection and assessment reports and true judgment of quotations for repair work.
- You gain professional expertise in managing all issues related to rotor blades.
- Participants of the seminar will profit from the yearlong practice experience of inspecting and repairing rotor blade damages of all kind.
- Main parts of the course will be performed by a service company specialized in rotor blade service.
- Small group size: maximum 16 persons
