RENAC is Prize winner
Of the 2,600 applications RENAC was selected amongst the 365 winners
The Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) with its green knowledge transfer is a prize winner of the nationwide innovation competition "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas". The aim of the international company is the worldwide transfer of knowhow on renewable energy and energy efficiency to support the expansion of sustainable energy supplies. As part of its educational programs RENAC offers seminars, workshops and courses applicable to different groups.
Jörg Chmielewski of the Deutsche Bank in Berlin recognized the Renewables Academy as a "Selected Landmark 2011" in the land of ideas. RENAC is now a prize winner of the competition "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas", conducted by the initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" in cooperation with the Deutsche Bank under the patronage of the President.
At the award ceremony Jörg Chmielewski stated, "RENAC is an outstanding example of how far a remarkable idea can be spread. At the same time, the company stands for German creativity and sustainable thinking for the good of our planet."
The Renewables Academy in Berlin has now been successfully offering its expertise in renewable energy and energy efficiency for 3 years to technicians and non-technicians from all over the world. Since its establishment in January 2008, over 1,200 participants from 96 countries have been trained in the technical, legal and economic aspects of renewable energy and energy efficiency – both in Berlin and abroad.
Of 2,600 applications for the competition RENAC convinced the independent jury and through its innovative and sustainable educational programs represents Germany as a "Land of Ideas". “Being a Winner of the competition '365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas', is a mark of quality in all areas. With great commitment and passion, selected landmarks make innovations visible and give an important impetus for our future", explained Jörg Chmielewski of the Deutsche Bank.
