REN@EARTH TtT Seminar
The first REN@EARTH Train-the-Trainer seminar starts on the 4th October 2011.
Currently, eight participants from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama take part in the seminar.
The goal is to enable and encourage experts from the photovoltaic sector, and lecturers and teachers from universities and technical colleges, to transfer their knowledge and offer professional further education trainings and lectures in the target countries. Participants gain specialist knowledge on photovoltaics (PV) in theory and practice and get training on didactics and effective teaching skills.
REN@EARTH is a capacity building project on renewable energy for students, lecturers and the renewable energy industry with a focus on the humid tropics. The aim is to strengthen the basis for an increased use of renewable energy technologies in order to reduce carbon emissions and energy imports. By facilitating know-how transfer to students, lecturers, and the renewable energy industry, the foundation for a sustainable local value creation will be built.
