From 'Amorphous' to 'Zenith': Those who have mastered the ABC of renewables save time and money
The Renewables Academy (RENAC), the international provider of training in renewable energy is supporting the German solar industry's export activities with special training courses for international clients.
At Intersolar 2010, RENAC will be launching its new business cooperation model. This offers companies support by helping to ensure that international customers have an up-to-date knowledge of solar energy technology, thereby reducing the consulting effort required and its related costs. The model offers a range of topics from technical issues such as planning, design, installation, or quality assurance through economic matters (marketing, sales, financing, feasibility studies) right up to legal frameworks. With its export turnover currently standing at around 6.5 billion euros, the German PV industry has already reached an export quota of over 50%, which is set to grow even further in the future. However, when trying to open up new markets, many of the industry's manufacturers and system providers are confronted by the lack of expertise in target countries. This applies at all stages of the value chain - from planning, through installation, to sales and financing. As a result, firms incur costly and time-consuming consultancy or training activities. RENAC's business cooperation model offers many options including the accumulation of training credits, the granting of special conditions for seminar fees that companies can pass on to their customers, or customer-specific training in RENAC's Training Center in Berlin or on-site worldwide. For private customers there is also a special offer at Intersolar: they can undertake RENAC's quiz on the ABC of renewables and win a special course discount. Further Information: www.renac.de or from the RENAC Stand at Intersolar: A3.444 Renewables Academy AG (RENAC): RENAC offers worldwide training courses on renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. For practical training, RENAC possesses a fully equipped training center in Berlin for photovoltaics, solar thermal, wind power and energy efficiency. This equipment can also be transported worldwide. Further RENAC Training Centers are in-planning for the UAE, UK and Mexico.
