Student Assistance in Online Course Development

15 hours/week

The Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), based in Berlin Mitte, Germany, is one of the leading international providers for renewable energy training and energy efficiency education. Since January 2008, over 17,000 participants from over 140 nations worldwide have benefited from our expertise in the technology, financing, management and market development of alternative energy. 35 employees and several long-term freelance partners work for RENAC.

What we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a student assistant to support our online academy.

Your tasks:

  • Support development of RENAC’s e?learning platform (Moodle), including CSS design
  • Create eLearning course material using Authoring tools
  • Develop graphics for RENAC online courses
  • Support staff and undertake special projects and assignments as needed

Your profile:

  • Studying media design or media pedagogy, or comparable subject area with a focus on elearning
    or teaching material development
  • Matriculation at a university until at least 2022 (longer would be an advantage)
  • Good MS Office skills, in particular PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, CSS, HTML5 is an advantage
  • Very good command of spoken and written English; other languages are an advantage
  • A team player and quick?learner with a self?structured and precise way of working
  • Experience working with Moodle or similar platforms at administration level is an advantage but
    not a must
