Brief description

The Bundesverband Deutscher Wasserkraftwerke (BDW) represents the interests of German hydropower plant operators at national level. The aim of BDW is the preservation and further expansion of German hydropower. In general, BDW is active on the German federal level. While participating in negotiations on creating and modifying feed-in tariff laws, the German Energy Act and water policies, BDW also acts within the European hydropower sector on behalf of German hydropower plant operators.
