Brief description

The German-French Office for Energy Transition (DFBEW/OFATE) promotes the dialogue between the industry and policy-making stakeholders of both countries. Its work encompasses all the relevant topics of the energy transition, from renewables and power grids to flexibility and energy efficiency. The work of the DFBEW is financed by the French and German governments as well as by around 250 companies and organisations. The offices in Berlin and Paris are directly located in the relevant ministries, thus enabling a direct exchange with the policy-makers.
