Brief description

Germanwatch is an independent environmental and development organisation engaged in the preservation of livelihoods and ensuring global equity. Its most important goals are to prevent climate change (climate protection, adaptation, fair solutions for losses and damages), to secure the right to food worldwide and to achieve corporate accountability for human rights and resource conservation. Central elements of Germanwatch's work are targeted dialogues with politicians and business representatives, science-based analyses, education and public relations work as well as campaigning.
