Brief description

The Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung is an agency for green ideas and projects, a reformative workshop for the future and an international network. It is close to the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Party. One of its priorities is the Energiewende; the aim is for 100 % renewable energies in the power sector as not only possible but necessary. In this way the Foundation works to prevent a climate catastrophe, and for independence from finite oil, coal and gas reserves and for non-reliance on nuclear power.
