Brief description

The German Environment Agency (UBA) acts to recognise and assess possible future health impairments to people and the environment with early warning and to propose practicable solutions. For this purpose, UBA‘s specialists undertake research in its own laboratories and research contracts to scientific institutions both in Germany and abroad. Furthermore, UBA is Germany‘s partner and point of contact to numerous international institutions. In addition to issues relating to international and European climate protection, UBA is particularly concerned with the implementation of national climate protection goals as well as the Energiewende.
