Expectations:
- at least 5 years of professional experience in Algeria in the field of Environmental and Social Governance,
- deep expertise and understanding of technical aspects of renewable energy,
- worked on at least 5 projects,
- university qualification in renewable energy, ESG, Sustainability or a related field,
- experience in Capacity Building and training desired,
- at least 1 year of experience in collaborating with international partners.
Tasks:
- technical advisory for the implementation of training on local context of ESG,
- communication with local stakeholders,
- coordinating and ensuring communication with GIZ, partners and others involved in the project,
- overall responsibility for quality and deadlines,
- delivery of training seminars,
- regular reporting in accordance with deadlines,
- development of technical documents (factsheets, concepts, etc.) on the ESG topic,
- development of training content for the courses and training programs.
Language:
Main working language will be French, however working proficiency in English is required.
Important dates
- Start of the assignment: November 2023 – as soon as possible
- Duration: part-time, flexible, until latest October 2025
- Type of contract: freelancer, not employed by RENAC
