Expectations:

  • at least 5 years of professional experience in Algeria in the field of Environmental and Social Governance,
  • deep expertise and understanding of technical aspects of renewable energy, 
  • worked on at least 5 projects, 
  • university qualification in renewable energy, ESG, Sustainability or a related field,
  • experience in Capacity Building and training desired,
  • at least 1 year of experience in collaborating with international partners.

Tasks:

  • technical advisory for the implementation of training on local context of ESG,
  • communication with local stakeholders, 
  • coordinating and ensuring communication with GIZ, partners and others involved in the project,
  • overall responsibility for quality and deadlines,
  • delivery of training seminars,
  • regular reporting in accordance with deadlines, 
  • development of technical documents (factsheets, concepts, etc.) on the ESG topic,
  • development of training content for the courses and training programs.

Language:

Main working language will be French, however working proficiency in English is required.


Important dates

  • Start of the assignment: November 2023 – as soon as possible
  • Duration: part-time, flexible, until latest October 2025
  • Type of contract: freelancer, not employed by RENAC
